In 2017, after a months-long process and training, I was selected to join the Digital Watch Observatory (an initiative of the Geneva Internet Platform, Internet Society and DiploFoundation) as an Assistant Curator. This means that I help out the Observatory with reporting from various Internet events, with general writing on specific issues and even write short updates about different topics from around the world. My first piece for the website was as a rapporteur for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum 2017, for a panel on Data Localization and Cross-Border Data Flow. Since then I have reported from IGF 2017, WSIS 2018, and starting January 2018, I have been promoted to Curator.
